The generation of the UFI code is the first and shortest step, while then it is absolutely necessary to submit also the PC notification.

It is not necessary to state the UFI code in the online store. But of course, you must indicate the UFI code on the product itself.

Unfortunately only generating a UFI code is not enough, as notification to poisoning centers (PCN submission) must also be arranged. Check
